Monte was the one who added some depth and substance to the structure that was created by Messiah when He led us to Michael Rood's teachings. Monte's wisdom and understanding of our Messianic faith is truly from Messiah. We have devoured his video and audio tapes as well. Monte has many entry-level audio and video teachings on his web site, all FREE OF CHARGE. Even his glossy, full-color, professional-printed monthly publication, "Yavoh!," is free of charge! And all his teaching CD's and videos are bargain priced and very affordable as well. Monte runs his ministry exactly how I believe a Minister should SERVE under this calling. My only complaint against Monte is that he refuses to use the True Name of the Father for reasons that, to me, are full of holes (inconsistencies) and don't hold water...

A "Two-House" Prophetic Teaching Ministry. Full of insightful commentary and doctrinal apologetics and studies. Another ministry that gives abundant FREE teachings and only requests gift offerings for more in-depth studies and materials.

Karites are Jews that hold to Torah and TaNaKH only, rejecting Rabbinical laws of man and traditions not based in Scripture. Nehemia is a key individual in the move to get Israel back to YHWH's calendar, the Astronomical and Agricultural Hebrew Calendar. YHWH's calendar is based on the New Moon cycle, not a pagan sun cycle, and by the AVIV (ripened) Barley in the land of Israel. Nehemia works with Michael Rood on this endeavor as well.

WWYD.org Kahuna Review of "A Prayer To Our Father"

Wow! What an adventure the new book by Nehemia Gordon and Keith Johnson brings us… I read the first half of “A Prayer To Our Father” non-stop this Shabbat morning without budging from my comfy recliner. The pursuit of “The Mount” where Yahushua/Yeshua gave us the “Our Father” prayer was exciting and full of intrigue and hidden revelations: a DIVINE appointment! And it figures, just like the true Mt. Sinai in Arabia, that what could be the TRUE “Our Father Mount” would still be so unmolested by tourists, denominations and “Jesus Junk” profiteers. It makes me want to sell anything I need to so that my family and I can take our FIRST visit to Israel to see these “off the tourist bus route” sites for ourselves. (Another tour Nehemia?)

The rest of the Shabbat was spent digesting the meaty morsels of revelation provided as Nehemia and Keith dished out a healthy portion of “Hebrew Origins” as they thinly sliced, line by line, the “Our Father” prayer revealed to us by the Jewish Messiah himself. Indeed, one cannot read nor understand the “Our Father” prayer the same way ever again, just like Moses’ Seat. The depth and clarity these two men add to what was once just Greek FRAGMENTS pieced together will alter our perception of the “Sermon on the Mount” forever, and indeed, as I hope and pray, give birth to a RENAISSANCE within the traditional Christian Church denominations that will awaken them to the “Hebrew Origins” of their faith.

However, I do have one minor criticism. Being that the “Our Father” prayer specifically says, “Hallowed be thy Name” and what The Name may be is discussed, I must comment with my two cents… Brother Keith, in his authored chapter, “May Your Name Be Sanctified,” explains how he was lead to abandon “vain” man-made traditions of substitution by rejecting the meaningless Title of “The LORD” for the name of our Creator as written 6820 times, the one and only name of YHWH / YHVH, which is a praise report in and of itself.

The story about the sounding shofar at the mention of the name, Yehovah, also gave one the impression of divine timing and supernatural confirmation, yet I must admit some skepticism to the verbal pronunciation and alphabetical letters chosen. I was glad to see that other versions of The Name were acknowledged, that being “Yahuwah,” or my chosen formal pronunciation, “Yahuweh.” Although some brief examples of “Yehovah” being used in the construct of Scriptural Hebrew names was given, several other names that other experts use to show the validity of “Yahuwah” were excluded, such as Yirmĭ-YAHU (Jeremiah), Matat-YAHU (Matthew). Oddly, the example of “Hallelu-YAH” was used by Keith but the “YAH” was then altered into “YEH.” I am not a Hebrew expert, all I have is the written works of expert’s I have read, but that twist from YAH to YEH I can not understand. I wish the pages were sufficient to have offered more evidence for both Nehemia’s and Keith’s chosen “version” of “The Name,” but I think that is another book altogether. (hint, hint) But we do all agree that given the revelation we have now in the pre-Messianic Age, what pronounced version of The Name we use is less important than returning to the SANCTIFICATION of “The Name,” YHWH. This I resoundingly concur!

Great job on a wonderful book! I hope it makes rounds within denominations and rabbinical circles…
